Do you love all things Christmas? Are you looking for Christmas work? We are looking to hire happy and helpful retail staff for the largest merchant at the wonderful Vancouver Christmas Market !!
Our Client is well known throughout the world for their exquisite and unique German handcrafted ornaments and Christmas décor, and the Vancouver Christmas Market at the Jack Poole Plaza is the only place in Canada where you can find this wonderful shop!!
The market runs from mid November though Christmas Eve, with full time and part time shifts available. You’ll manage the products on the tables and shelves, restock them daily and help the customers make their decisions. Extensive product knowledge training plus polar fleece jackets are provided to the team.
Here’s what we need from you:
Experience working in a customer service (ideally in a retail) position. Cashier experience is an asset
Must love working with customers and enjoy rotating tasks in your shifts.
You must have a BIG dose of Christmas spirit love working in a very busy environment!!
Able to lift 25-30 pounds on occasion, and can stand and walk for long periods of time
Fluent English, both oral and written is necessary; being bilingual is even better!
Willing to work inside an enclosed large HEATED tent (90 by 45 feet) in the Plaza
High school diploma or higher. Also very suitable for people visiting us on a working visa from Europe.

Highly competitive hourly wages (above minimum!) and a discount on your purchases! (BONUS!! if you commit to work with us 20 or more hours per week from start to finish of the market – an additional hourly bonus will be paid to you at the end of the market for all hours worked !)
Flexible work schedule, including nights and weekend shifts. 15 to 40 hours a week are available. The market is open 7 days a week 11-9 PM, and ideally you are available from Nov 9 through to Dec 26 (Closed for Christmas of course!!)
Oh – did I mention?? – they are also awesome people to work for! There a great new local manager this year and we are also looking for a couple of Keyholdersto help oversee this magical place!
